The Keene Pumpkin Festival is back. Against all odds, Sunday, October 29th from 1 to 7 p.m., Central Square will again be filled with flickering jack-o’- lanterns carved by local school children. The event will have a different vibe this year – much smaller, all local, very simple. There will be no food vendors, no merchandise, no towers. But what the free festival will have, that it has always had, is children, smiles, pumpkins, and lots of heart.
